Next Gen Ministry: Leading Preschool-High School kids and students to love Jesus
WE WILL TELL THE NEXT GENERATION THE PRAISEWORTHY DEEDS OF THE LORD, HIS POWER, AND THE WONDERS HE HAS DONE.
PSALM 78:4
WE EXIST TO EQUIP AND EMPOWER KIDS AND STUDENTS TO HAVE AN AUTHENTIC AND ACTIVE FAITH.
To do that, we believe in partnering with our parents by equipping them to be the primary disciple-makers; creating small groups for them to be known and learn how to grow in their faith; and investing in leaders to help accomplish this mission. Everything we do in Next Gen Ministry leads to that goal, but we know it takes more than programs and dollars to make this happen. We're grateful for a church that is faithfully committed to leading all generations to love Jesus!

The Preschool Ministry experienced tremendous growth this year! We are thankful to God for all of our preschoolers and the new classes we have opened. Families are finding a strong source of discipleship for their children and friendship among one another. We thank God for the many volunteers who have answered the call to love and teach our youngest about Jesus. Along the way, we've updated and improved our safety and security policies and have begun a new curriculum with helpful weekly resources for parents. I'm so proud to serve alongside our talented Preschool team.
SERVING OUR FAMILIES AND THEIR LITTLE ONES IS OUR GREATEST JOY!

I'm overjoyed to join the Next Gen Team as Kids Minister! It's a blessing to know and love so many kids and families already, having served on the Sports & Rec Team for several years. I get to work with many deeply committed leaders – in fact, we are entering a new year with approximately 90% of our volunteers returning, an exciting new curriculum, and great energy towards a community-oriented ministry.
GOD IS BLESSING OUR KIDS MINISTRY AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

A Ministry Year Highlight: Sharing Jesus in Our Neighborhoods
Our second Neighborhood Bible Study began this year – following the lead of Kris Hill, Clint Williamson now leads a 4th Grade Boys Bible Study on Friday mornings before school. Over 25 boys and several dads meet to talk and have a Bible lesson. With Clint's help, a 2nd Grade Neighborhood Bible Study began in April 2024!
THIS PAST YEAR IN PCBC STUDENTS HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE GIFT!
God has constantly shown up in and through the lives of our students. From Connect Groups and Crew, Getaway and Thee Camp, and serving in Dallas and Guatemala, God has been glorified through our students’ devotion to him. In the coming year, we’re more committed than ever to the Gospel of God’s grace and living that out in community with one another. If you’re looking for Christ-centered community with other middle and high schoolers, or a place to serve, there’s a place for you in PCBC Students!

Student Pastor
GetAway Weekend draws our students closer to Christ by removing the distractions of daily life, focusing on God's love for us and fellowship with one another. Here's a glimpse of this incredible weekend!
Across the community, nine Crew homes host our students every week for a time to just hang out with friends and have faith conversations. Several new Crew homes are coming in 2024!
Our Next Gen Music & Arts Ministry teaches our very youngest (beginning at age two) through our seniors in high school how to praise and worship through music and movement! We sing and worship every Wednesday night during GrowKids, Jr. (Preschool music and movement), GrowKids (Elementary music, missions & movement) and Student Worship Team (SWT). We love making music and being part of worship services all during the year.
WE ARE ALL ABOUT MAKING MUSIC FOR JESUS – AND TEACHING THAT MUSIC IS GREAT, BUT JESUS IS GREATER!

Kids’ Sports & Rec at PCBC has had an exciting year, where we were able to reach 1,550 summer campers and their families and over 400 through Upward Basketball and Cheerleading. Every child who joins a Sports & Rec activity hears the Gospel and learns how to be a good sport, friend, and teammate. Practices and games begin and end with prayer – and because of our committed leaders and volunteers, this year several kids made decisions to follow Christ and now attend our church with their families. PCBC Sports & Rec serves not only kids, but all generations in our church and community.
WE CELEBRATE OUR CHURCH'S 85TH ANNIVERSARY AS WE PREPARE FOR A NEW YEAR OF MINISTRY!

Our PCBC Day School provides quality early childhood education and care for the community of Dallas, Park Cities, and surrounding areas through a loving Christian environment and a curriculum of active learning that nurtures the growth of the whole child. This year, we have seen Day School families become members of PCBC and join Connect Groups, while their kids are being discipled through our vibrant Kids Ministry. For the 2024-25 school year, we are excited to be adding a Preschool: Threes class and an Older Toddler three-day class option, growing our ministry to serve 150 children! You’ll also be seeing us in classic uniforms next year, making our PCBC Day School community visible throughout our campus.

Day School Director
WHAT'S NEXT IN NEXT GEN?
We want our families to know that from the time their kids are born, through the preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school years, they will be loved, celebrated, and intentionally pointed to Christ. New resources will support parents along the journey this coming year!
