2025-2026 IMPACT REPORT
Serving Our Community & World
Mission work continues to open doors for many in our church to experience the joy of the Lord —
sharing the gospel, investing in others and building meaningful relationships with both local and international ministry partners. There is a place for everyone to serve, whether here in our community or alongside a team across the world.
As you read these stories, you will see the impact of faithful service, strengthening our church family and making a difference far beyond our walls. When we give our time and step into these opportunities, the light of Christ shines brightly through us.
This past year, we continued expanding our mission efforts,
sending teams across South Texas and around the world to serve others and live out the gospel.

PCBC & CUBA
OVER A DECADE OF PARTNERSHIP
Through our partnerships in Cuba, we are seeing the gospel advance even in the midst of significant hardship. Local pastors continue to lead growing ministries — reaching children, youth and families, providing essential care and sharing the hope of Christ in their communities. Despite ongoing challenges, the church in Cuba remains strong, sustained by God’s faithfulness and the encouragement of faithful partnership.
PROVIDING FOR SPIRITUAL & PHYSICAL NEEDS
For over a decade, PCBC’s partnership has played a vital role in strengthening the ministry of Pastor Barbaro and the Havana Baptist Theological Seminary. Watch this message from Barbaro about the life-sustaining solar panels provided by PCBC this year!
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
Watch this special video message from Pastor Deyner of Camagüey Church as he shares how ongoing challenges in Cuba continue to impact both health and the economy, creating daily hardship for many. Yet, in the midst of these conditions, he emphasized that God is faithfully sustaining their church and community.
Through the partnership with PCBC, Camagüey Church has been able to install solar panels, allowing them to continue gathering for worship and serve as a place of support — providing medicine, food and practical care for those in need in the surrounding neighborhood.

Angel Tree 2025
Through the generosity of our church family, the 2025 Angel Tree provided meaningful encouragement to children and families in the Vickery neighborhood.
All gifts were collected at PCBC and delivered directly to families, with continued care and ministry offered throughout the year through the Vickery Herrera Center. ANGEL TREE 2025 REPORT
- We provided 379 Christmas gifts to 258 individuals, representing 62 families
- 62 Bibles were distributed
- 22 bunkbeds were constructed and delivered to families
- 23 twin beds were constructed and delivered to families
LOOKING AHEAD TO ANGEL TREE 2026
This coming Christmas, we are excited to continue our Christmas Angel Tree program by launching a Christmas Store at the Vickery Herrera Center. This approach allows families in the Vickery and Bachman Lake communities to shop with dignity, purchasing gifts for their families at a reduced cost and creating a more meaningful Christmas experience.
Angels will be available on trees beginning in mid-November. Requested items will include coats, clothing for children and adults, twin metal beds and toys for children — all helping meet real needs and bring joy to families during the Christmas season.
Jack Lowe Elementary
PCBC's ministry at Jack Lowe Elementary continues to grow, even with the large turnover in school staff this year. Park Cities continues to support students and families through the Back-to-School Blast and Fall Care Package events, during which each child is given rice, beans, oil, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, detergent, and uniform shirts, as well as a note of encouragement from PCBC. With help from Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls, every JLE student and staff member was given a new pair of shoes and socks. During Back to School Blast, we provided school supplies for the teachers and staff, and followed up by delivering more supplies mid-year.
Led by PCBC volunteers, the monthly meetings for the 5th Grade Girls and Boys are going well and continue to provide encouragement and support for the students.
PCBC volunteers also supply monthly lunches and snacks for staff and snacks for students on testing days. Thanks to volunteers, we are able to meet many small needs that arise throughout the year. We are grateful for our continued partnership with Jack Lowe Elementary!

Thank you for your faithful generosity and willingness to serve over the past year.
THROUGH YOUR GIVING, YOUR TIME AND YOUR HEART FOR OTHERS, WE HAVE SEEN GOD MOVE IN POWERFUL WALS BOTH WITHIN OUR CHURCH AND FAR BEYOND OUR WALLS.
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
