2025-2026 IMPACT REPORT

Training New Leaders

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

ROMANS 12:4-8

The Church Pastoral Center (CPC)

— a partnership between PCBC and Texas Baptists — has trained 40 pastors over the past seven years.

Through theological training and guidance, the CPC helps pastors confirm their calling to plant churches. While not every participant goes on to plant a church, the center remains the longest continuously active training center in the state.

God has faithfully blessed this ministry. Since 2019, approximately 26 church plants have been supported for at least three years, reaching communities our church cannot directly reach and expanding the Kingdom of God.

We are also excited to launch a Spanish-language CPC in partnership with Texas Baptists. Please join us in praying for the Spanish-speaking pastors who will be trained through this new initiative. Exciting days are ahead!

JAMAEL GRAVES | LEAD PASTOR OF CULTIVATE CHURCH

Advancing the Gospel

"Cultivate Church is living evidence of the impact of the Church Pastoral Center and the generosity of the PCBC family.

The CPC’s commitment to making disciples through church planting is not just a statement — it is something we have experienced firsthand. As a church plant, we have benefited deeply from the encouragement, training, and relational support that the CPC provides to pastors navigating the challenges of starting and sustaining new congregations.

Dr. Kelly Hamilton’s belief in our calling and willingness to advocate for us within PCBC has made an immeasurable difference. His leadership and heart for church planters have strengthened me personally and equipped our church to build with greater wisdom and confidence. Because the CPC believed in us, we were able to focus on establishing healthy systems of discipleship and outreach from the very beginning.

In our first year alone, we baptized more than fifteen individuals and saw over forty people begin a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. These are lives changed because a sending church chose to invest in the multiplication of healthy congregations. The CPC’s support has allowed us to disciple intentionally, develop emerging leaders, and expand outreach into schools and communities across DFW.

When PCBC celebrates the growth of the Kingdom through the CPC, Cultivate Church is part of that story. We truly could not be doing this work at this level without the faithfulness and generosity of the PCBC family.

We are deeply grateful to labor alongside you in seeing the Gospel advance.

WE ARE PCBC!"

PCBC Residency Program

The goal of the PCBC Residency Program is to strengthen the Body of Christ by cultivating leaders to serve Jesus in whatever sphere they may find themselves — training them for a lifestyle of ministry.

The tools acquired in the program are useful in church, para-church, and secular professional settings, as well as leading one’s household to follow Christ. We know that God works through the efforts of his people and that lives will be changed in our church, our city, and our world by those who become a part of the Residency Program here.

HALEY MASON | 2025-2026 RESIDENT

Joy & Growth in Christ

"I am deeply encouraged by all the incredible work this church does for the kingdom of God. There are so many ways to worship here at PCBC, and I feel blessed to have been part of the Residency Program this year. It has been transformative — spiritually and personally.

Through this experience I learned what true joy looks like: the choice to hold on to joy even through the hard days. It is okay to feel one feeling while holding onto the joy that God gives us. That joy has been rooted in a growing relationship with God, nurtured by an extraordinary staff.

I’ve also grown in my willingness and ability to serve — learning skills I never thought possible, becoming more involved, and discovering tangible ways to support the church. Teaching students, sharing the gospel, and watching the next generation fall in love with God has been one experience that will continue to shape me.

This church believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I’ve learned that who I am — exactly as God made me — is enough. I don’t need to change myself to serve here or to belong to this family. The staff genuinely values everyone’s contribution to God’s kingdom, and they helped me see that my empathy, which I once thought was a burden, is actually a spiritual gift."

Welcoming N.T. Wright

TO PARK CITIES BAPTIST CHURCH

In November 2025, PCBC hosted “Exploring Philippians with N.T. Wright,” welcoming 700 attendees for a three-day conference centered on Paul’s letter to the Philippians. The event featured seven in-depth teaching sessions, live Q&A opportunities and thoughtful conversations about the church’s role in today’s cultural moment. It was a meaningful time of learning and engagement as participants explored scripture alongside one of the world’s leading New Testament scholars.

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
